Thank you for ordering our fleece Snugglers™ and/or Terry Togs™. In order to select a proper size for your dog, you need to take the following measurements in inches (err on the low side for the Snugglers™ because fleece fabric is stretchy) and compare them to the measurements of my greyhounds which are listed at COMPARISON OF MEASUREMENTS.  If your greyhound's measurements are a bit "off-kilter", we can help you decide which size is appropriate if you email your measurements to us at suzanne@suzieqdesigns.com.   These measurements will also help us make any necessary adjustments to our patterns.

Since the patterns for these items are designed for the NGA-registered racing greyhound, which has a fairly flat back, these measurements are crucial for fitting Whippets and Italian Greyhounds, who tend to arch their backs, causing the Snuggler™ and Terry Tog™ to bunch up in their hindquarters.  Having specific measurements will help to minimize this bunching.  

Measurements Needed:

_______ ^A^ – Length from the shoulder blades to the hip bones (Snugglers™ are not designed to cover the rump).  This ^IS^ a critical measurement for our Terry Tog™.

_______ B – From behind one arm around the front of the chest to behind the other arm.

_______**C** – Circumference of the deepest part of the chest.  This **IS** a critical measurement for both our Snuggler™ and Terry Tog™.

_______ D – Circumference of the chest at the end of the ribcage.

_______ ^E^ – Width of the closing flap – measure from behind one arm to the end of the ribcage.  This ^IS^ a critical measurement for our Terry Tog™, especially for male Greys.

_______ F – Width of the chest piece. This is not a critical measurement.

_______ G – Opening for neck (this is the distance between where the top edge of the chest piece will be sewn on each side).  This is not a critical measurement.

_______**H** – Weight in pounds.  This **IS** a critical measurement for both our Snuggler™ and Terry Tog™.  If you cannot get the other measurements, the weight can be used alone, though the fit may not be quite as good.

Please note that the two critical measurements for our Snuggler™ are:
